Brown Made to Measure Aluminium Blinds

Brown aluminium blinds offer warmth, durability, and a natural feel without losing the modern edge of metal blinds. They suit homes and commercial interiors that want a grounded, welcoming look while keeping strong light control and easy maintenance. Their colour range, slat options, and finish choices make them a flexible fit for many styles.

Shades of Brown
Brown comes in a wide spectrum, each shade creating a different mood.

  • Chocolate Brown. Rich and deep, perfect for warm, cosy interiors.
  • Walnut Brown. A mid brown that pairs well with wood furniture and neutral palettes.
  • Chestnut Brown. Slightly reddish brown that adds warmth and character.
  • Taupe Brown. A soft, grey-toned brown that suits modern and minimalist spaces.
  • Sand Brown. Light, natural, and ideal for bright, relaxed rooms.

These shades make brown aluminium blinds easy to match with natural textures, wooden floors, beige tones, and soft, earthy colours.

Slat Sizes Available
Each slat width affects how much light enters the room and how strong the visual impact is.

  • 15 mm slats. Slim, tidy, and great for small windows or a fine, minimal look.
  • 25 mm slats. The standard size. Offers reliable light control and suits most rooms.
  • 35 mm slats. A wider profile that softens the light and creates a stronger style statement.
  • 50 mm slats. Bold and modern. Ideal for large windows, open rooms, and commercial spaces.

Choosing the right size depends on the window proportions and the look you want.

Gloss and Matt Finishes
Brown aluminium blinds come in two popular finishes that change how the colour behaves in the room.

  • Gloss Brown. Smooth and reflective. This finish adds a crisp shine and works well in kitchens and modern interiors.
  • Matt Brown. Soft, understated, and glare-free. Great for calm, natural, or earthy spaces where a subtle look works better.

Both finishes are durable, fade-resistant, and easy to clean.

Why they are a popular choice
They blend warmth with the strength of aluminium. They resist moisture, hold their shape, and stay looking sharp with minimal upkeep. Their range of shades and finishes means they work in classic, rustic, modern, and neutral interiors, which makes them a strong choice for home decor and blinds retailers.

Benefits of Brown Venetian Blinds

Brown Venetian blinds bring warmth, balance, and natural style to any room. Their earthy tones work well with wooden furniture, neutral palettes, and cosy interiors, while still offering strong everyday practicality. Tilted slats help you control light, reduce glare, and enjoy soft filtered daylight. The angled design also gives reliable privacy. Aluminium versions stay straight, wipe clean quickly, and resist moisture, which makes them suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, and busy living spaces. With shades ranging from light sand to rich chocolate, they add depth and a welcoming feel to both modern and traditional rooms.

How to Measure for Brown Venetian Blinds

Accurate measuring ensures a proper fit. The approach depends on whether the blind will sit inside the recess or outside it.

Inside recess

This creates a neat, built in look.

  • Measure the width at the top, middle, and bottom of the recess. Use the smallest number.
  • Measure the drop in three places and use the shortest number.
  • Check the depth to make sure the blind and brackets fit comfortably.
  • Make sure handles, tiles, or trim will not obstruct the blind.

Outside recess

Good for shallow recesses or better light coverage.

  • Measure the total width you want the blind to cover. Add extra space on both sides for improved light control.
  • Measure the drop from the fitting point to where you want the blind to finish.
  • Check that there is enough space above the window for the headrail.

Always measure in millimetres for accuracy.

How to Operate Brown Venetian Blinds

Venetian blinds are simple to use, and the control method depends on the design.

Tilt wand or tilt cord
Twist the wand or pull the cord to open or close the slats.

Lift cord
Pull to raise the blind and angle the cord to lock it in place.

Cordless lift
Guide the bottom rail with your hand to lift or lower the blind.

Safety tips
Keep the cords neat and secure, and use any cord safety device provided. Check that the blind can move freely without touching handles or anything in the way.
