How to measure - Velux blinds

Locate your data plate;

In order to match the correct blind for your window, you need to provide us with information from the window's data plate.

All VELUX roof windows have a data plate stating exact information about the window.

For windows such as the one illustrated below, the data plate is located in the right corner of the top sash behind the ventilation flap.

On other types of VELUX windows, you will find the data plate somewhere visible on the inside of the frame or sash, or behind the ventilation flap.

Data plates differ in appearance depending on the model of your

VELUX window. Please identify and select the version of data plate on your window from the illustrations below:

4. Production code

Roof windows delivered after 01 April 2001 can be recognised by a grey plate size code made up of a combination of one letter and two numbers (i.e GGL M04)

Roof windows delivered from 01 April 1991 to 01 April 2001 can be recognised by a golden coloured data plate and a size code made up of three numbers (i.e GGL 304)

Roof windows delivered before 01 April 1991 can be recognised by a silver coloured data plate and a size code made up of one number combined with three letters (i.e GGL-1)
