Important note for measuring Roller blinds!
For Roller blinds, we have to allow for fittings at either end of the blind,
as there is no headrail. This means the actual fabric will be approximately
2.8cm - 3.3cm less than the overall blind width specified.
Example 1
If an ‘Exact’ width of 120cm is specified
then the make up of the roller blind will be as follows:
Cloth Size = 117.2cm, Brackets = 2.8cm, Blind Width = 120cm
Example 2
If a ‘Recess’ width of 120cm is specified then
the make up of the roller blind will be as follows after the 10mm allowance
has been deducted;
Cloth Size = 116.2cm, Brackets = 2.8cm, Blind Width = 119cm
