Ballina Front Roman Blind
The Ballina Front model is manufactured with round stiffeners, which produces a shade with a modern and uniform appearance. The 6mm round aluminium rods are inserted through tunnels at the front of the fabric. This design is particularly suited to patterned or striped fabrics because the pattern of the fabric is continued.
Ballina Back Roman Blind Model
The Ballina Back model is made with round stiffeners which produces a shade with a modern and uniform appearance. The 6mm round aluminium rods are inserted through tunnels at the back of the blind. This design of blind is ideal for plain fabrics and can be beautifully finished with cord piping in a contrasting or co-ordinating colour.
Cord Piping
Available with the 'Ballina back' model the cord piping is stictched horizontally onto the blind reinforcing the effect of the stiffeners. The design of the cord piping allows you to create a subtle or striking horizontal stripe effect. The cord piping is available in different materials including romantic chenille piping and a modern suede look
Flounce
For added protection of the fabric and for an even more beautiful finish, your Roman Blind can be made with an extra strip of fabric at the bottom - a Flounce.
Duffle & Bit Fastening
Decorative button fastenings can be added to Roman blind models with stiffeners in designs with a flounce. The button fastenings are visible when the shade is pulled up and give the appearance that the flounce is tied to the blind.

Child Safety - 'make it safe'
The BBSA and its members are fully committed to help eliminate the risk associated with harzardous looped operating cords, chains and tapes used on window blinds.
Window blind cords and chains must be kept out of reach of babies and small children and there are many solutions for new and existing blinds. Here is what you should do now if you have babies or young children living in your house or if babies or young children may visit:
Examine every blind in your home. If they have a looped control chain or cord and do not have a safety device fitted then you can easily install one of the many devices available (see make it safe brochure below for device types). Alternitivley, ask a BBSA member or ‘make it safe’ dealer who will be happy to assist you.
• Ensure that all operating blind cords and chains cannot be reached by children.
• When buying a new blind always look for one that does not contain cords, has concealed cords or has an in-built safety device or where a safety devices are offered.
• Move cots, beds and any furniture away from windows and blinds – remember children love to climb.
