• Selected Roman blinds can be dry cleaned. Ensure all fibre rods and cords are removed beforehand.
• All Roman blinds are fully lined
• Blackout lining available on specific fabrics (sidewinder control only)
• All of the Roman blinds have a With Care Instruction label.
Model Options
Splendor Roman blinds are available with a choice of either cleat & cord control or the Deluxe sidewinder control. Our range of carefully selected fabrics are available for manufacture in both models and come fully lined as standard. The Deluxe model gives you the option to add blackout lining to the fabric.
Cleat & Cord Roman Blind
The cleat and cord roman model operates using a cord control to raise and lower the blind, this can be specified to be on either the left or right side of the blind. The fabric is raised and lowered by pulling down on the cord to raise the blind and then tied around a cleat at the desired position To release the blind you simply untie the cord and alow the blind to free hang. The cleat is available in chrome or brass and is screwed onto the wall or frame.
Deluxe Roman Blind
The deluxe model system operates using a sidewinder locking mechanism with a continuous chain to raise and lower the position of the blind. The blind will lock into the desired position by virtue of the locking control built into the headrail. The chain comes in a choice white plastic, metal chrome, metal black or metal antique. The control chain mechanism can be manufactured on the left or right side of the blind
Roman Blind Lining Options
All roman blinds in the Splendor range are fully lined as standard with Blackout lining available as an optional extra on the Deluxe model.

When Recess measurement specified we will make a deduction of; -
• 1.0cm (10mm) OFF THE BLIND WIDTH
• n/a OFF THE BLIND HEIGHT
• We work to an operating tolerance of +/- 5mm) on all made to measure blinds..
• The width and drop must be specified in CENTIMETERS (CM) to the nearest 0.1cm.
• The measurement you are making is the Blind measurement end to end.•

• Standard headrail 26mm wide x 25mm deep. Deluxe headrail 40mm wide x 40mm deep.

Child Safety - 'make it safe'
The BBSA and its members are fully committed to help eliminate the risk associated with harzardous looped operating cords, chains and tapes used on window blinds.
Window blind cords and chains must be kept out of reach of babies and small children and there are many solutions for new and existing blinds. Here is what you should do now if you have babies or young children living in your house or if babies or young children may visit:
Examine every blind in your home. If they have a looped control chain or cord and do not have a safety device fitted then you can easily install one of the many devices available (see make it safe brochure below for device types). Alternitivley, ask a BBSA member or ‘make it safe’ dealer who will be happy to assist you.
• Ensure that all operating blind cords and chains cannot be reached by children.
• When buying a new blind always look for one that does not contain cords, has concealed cords or has an in-built safety device or where a safety devices are offered.
• Move cots, beds and any furniture away from windows and blinds – remember children love to climb.
