Velux External Awning Blinds offer effective protection against heat and sunlight. They are available as either manual or remote operated blinds and both models are placed on the utside of the window, thereby stopping the suns rays before they reach the window pane. They are made from hard wearing and weather resistant fabric wgich allows light through into the room while providing good visibility to the outside. The manual operated awning blind can be used even when the window is closed by means of a cord and is easily installed from the inside. The remote control awning blind is powered by battery using solar power so there is no wiring needed. It is easily installed from the inside and can be operated from anywhere in the room.
