Roller blinds are the perfect and practical choice for adding style to your home or office without having to spend too much money. They offer privacy and security as well as excellent control of solar light and heat. Roller blinds are ideal for mixing with existing curtains or other types of blinds for a stunning effect. Blinds4UK Roller Blinds?
Our Roller blinds are manufatured with carefully treated fabrics that hang around a  tubular mechanism known as the barrel or tube. All of our Roller blinds are manufactured with a strong aluminium or steel tube and finshed off with a weighted bottom bar. The fabric rolls up and down vertically and is easily operated either by sidewinder chain control or spring tension control. We offer a selection of plastic or metal chain options for sidewinder control blinds and a variety of decorative pulls for spring tension blinds.

Operation Controls

There are 2 types of control options for Roller Blinds

• Sidewinder chain

• Spring tension control. 

Chain

The sidewinder control has a chain to raise and lower the blind.  You can decide whether you prefer palstic or metal chain and if the control is to be manufactured on the left or the right side of the blind. .

Spring

The spring tension control operates via a spring, which is built into the roller tube. The spring is tensioned and allows the fabric to be raised and lowered by pulling down on a decorative pull which is positioned in the centre of the blind.  The choice of decorative pulls can be found by clicking the question mark to the right of the selection field. A page of images will pop up displaying the pulls on offer.

Important note for Roller Blinds:
Please remember the WIDTH on a Roller Blind is the BRACKET to BRACKET measurement – not the fabric width. You are advised to read our ‘how to measure roller blinds’ page before making any purchase.

REMEMBER!

•.Decide on the fitting position - Top Fix or Face Fix.
• Look for any obstructions such as handles, dado rails, tiles etc
• Measure the width first at three points, top, middle & bottom*
• Measure the drop at three points left, centre & right.*
• Double check all your measurements
• Decide whether the width measurement is Exact or Recess

Installation
Roller Blinds are simple to install and even easier to use. Universal brackets are supplied as standard and can be either top fixed or face fixed into the wall or frame.  Reminiscent blinds offere the option of side fixing. Once fitted the blind simply slots into them.

Cleaning

Roller Blinds are very easy to clean by wiping them with a damp cloth.
