Light Control & Privacy
Technically there is no such thing as a 100% Blackout Roller blind. Whilst it is true the fabric will be 100% blackout, total blackout cannot be achieved whereas room darkening can. It is important to note that Blackout Roller Blinds will still have gaps down the side because of the brackets & pin, which effectively allow the fabric to function up & down.
Total Blackout Cassette Blinds
For those looking for the ultimate in blackout then our cassette blackout blinds are the best option for you. This is a high specification product compared to the standard blackout blind and has been specially designed with side channels, head-box & double brushes to prevent light penetration. These blinds are available with manual or remote control operation.
Blind Size & Cloth Size
Our blinds are all manufactured as 'Blind Size' (centimetres). This measurement is the actual width from one edge of the bracket to the other. Customers that require a minimum cloth size to cover an expansive area should be aware that the overall blind size will be wider to allow for brackets & pin. For allowances & deductions made to calculate blinds size, recess size or cloth size you are advised to read our how to measure blackout blinds instructions
